In cameras when you take photos/make a video…how does it record it, like…how does it have ‘eyes’ to show whats infront of it, if you get me…

Cameras work like your eyes…Your eye has a lens. The camera has a lens.

Your eye has a pupil. The camera has an iris and exposure control.

Your eye has a retina. The camera has imaging chips (CCD or CMOS).

The image goes through the lens, through the pupil, onto your retina which translates the information into electronic impulses that travel through your Optic nerve to your brain where the information is interpreted and stored in your brain.

The image goes through the lens, the exposure is balance to a certain lighting level, onto the imaging chip which translates the information into electronic impulses that travel through wires to a CPU or other specialized chip and electronics and the information is interpreted and stored on digital tape, hard drive, flash memory, etc…
